Well, well...
My step dad is now "officially" ahead of me in terms of PC specs.
I just built him a nice AMD 3800+ (x2) PC with an Asus A8N-SLI motherboard, 6800XT video card, 2 GB of RAM, and a nice 120GB Sata HD. I also got him a dual layer DVD burner and a decent wireless KB and mouse all from Newegg for around $1000. He wanted me to stick to $1000 or below and I'm only a few dollars over. I might have to go over to his house to play some of the latest games now. ![]() I'll tell you, that dual core processor really makes a difference. |

All you would have to do is look me up in Weldon Spring - where I work at Verizon right now. ![]() The good think about running an IT Dept is I can also do some "other" things while working. It's actually really convienent to build a pc here as I have all my tools and what not. Last edited by MizzouRah : 04-12-2006 at 03:13 PM. |
