I liked doing silimar things in The Sims as well. The game got a lot of playtime with me. I also re-created a Big Brother house, and used a cheat to get unlimited money... I'd give them little gifts from time to time, and made a Head-of-Household bedroom as well.

My wife made Sims of her co-workers. After a hard day at the office, she would come home and set them all on fire.

This about all I did when I played The Sims. I didn't think the actual game was all that fun. Needless to say I didn't play it long.
