Sanaa hasn't been in movies that have had a wide appeal. Most of her films have been African American themed films, except for AVP. That may have something to do with the reason she isn't as well known around here as say Halle Berry or Angela Bassett. But she is definitely a very talented actress who've I've enjoyed watching.

Doesn't mean she's not a celebrity, just means she's a celebrity who's movies have not been seen by a majority of the people here.

Believe it or not you people are not the center of the universe...just because you dont know of her doesnt mean she isnt a celebrity. As I have said maybe 5 times before she is probably not in your CIRCLE and thus you wont know her unless you have seen movies like Brown Sugar, Love and Basketball, and The Best Man. Im suprised no one here has seen her in Out of Time with Denzel though. These are primarily "African American" targeted movies so while your teenage children probably have heard of her middle age white men probably wouldnt depending on their interests. This is really the last time I want to discuss this, the purpose of this alternate poll was to introduce women of color who are celebrities in their own right but probably not well known to most around here. I seen Out of Time. Good movie and she had a pretty good performance. Seen the Best Man as well, but have yet to see Brown Sugar or Love and Basketball. With that said, I am not sure why people are jumping on you for this poll. Just make a vote after viewing the pics. It's that easy. There have been a number of celebrity hot or nots in which I did not recognize the name of the actor.

Looking at more picks, I guess I'll vote hot, though I was thinking there was something about her face in some shots that bugged me. Nobody else probably sees it, but facially, she reminds me a little of Rachel Ray. Much better body though.
