Seems to be one of you around here so I figure I would bring it up. I know others are gonne get on me for complaining even though we have a 4-14 record. Imagine how good this team could be if they could fill all 25 holes. The way I see it, Sweeney and Bell are a waste, and the bullpen has 9 guys that shouldn't be in the majors. Those being whoever pitches. Whoever pitches has terrible numbers as of now, but I see it lasting, I know I wouldn't want to go to the little league world series banking on them to hold my lead. , Greinke well I don't think I need to say much there, and although Elarton has the win and a low ERA, he's been shaky to say the least. He's just been lucky he's pitched against the shit teams, once he throws to a good lineup then he's not gonna get away with all those times he walks the bases loaded. Team is going Shitty so far but I think Baird better start making some phone calls and put a complete 25 man team out there

I think Baird is part of the problem not part of the solution. I also don't think the pen is really the problem as they do have some nice arms out there Burgos, Sisco, and MacDougal when he gets healthy all could be nice pitchers. The starters and the offense however are just terrible. I posted last year at the trading deadline that they should ship out Sweeney while his stock was high but they didn't do that. Now nobody will be interested at this deadline.
ps. not the royals fan but thought I would chime in. |
