You Would Have Won a Bunch of Money...

If you had bet the Cincinnati Reds would be the first team to 15 wins!

I know it won't last, but its great to see the Reds winning again.

So sad that they're not alone in first (and hopefully will even be second by the end of the night)...

I'll be at the game monday night against St. Louis and I can;t wait to see the new ballpark. Unless I'm mistaken Arroyo is pitching, maybe I should get tickets in the left field bleachers.

To be fair, the Reds and Astros have had similar schedules early on... except the Reds did take 3 of 5 from the Cubs in home/road games... and have had WAY more road games than the Astros. So, frankly, the Reds record is more impressive than the Astros, considering the Reds have beat mostly the same deadbeat teams as Houston so far, except on the road.

We'll see what happens this weekend. If the Reds can take 2 of 3, then they'll be in first. But the Reds have NEVER hit Oswalt, so I kinda doubt it. Plus, considering the Reds haven't done anything in 10 years, I kind of wait for the implosion... some years it comes in July, some years in April or May.

I've got tickets for the July series when the Reds come to Atlanta...I'm holding onto hope that they'll still be in competitive mode, rather than having decided that they're gonna trade away anyone with value.
