I'm at work. But I don't think of it as wasting the company's time... I think of it as "keeping myself fresh".

I'm sitting in my office at work with my coal-covered lunch. My hands are covered in coal dust all day.

Edit: No, I am not eating my hands for lunch.

While I am wasting my employer's money...I look around and see I am not wasting anymore than what I see sitting around me.

And on to my second break. Let's see, I just started and it's 2:12pm our time. I'll post again as I get back to work... I'm curious how long my breaks actually are.

Yeah, I actually do.

It sucks when I have a "on break" sign and people still come to my desk asking questions. Happened twice while on this break alone.

I think we're also supposed to have a half hour lunch break.. but everyone in the office takes an hour... or more .

Well.. we do get our work done, though.

Ya know, speaking of taking an hour or more lunch break, one of my coworkers' schedule is from 7-3:30, she takes about 2-25 minute breaks, and a 45+ minute lunch. Not only that, she leaves the office to pick up her kids and drop them off at her mom's (which is about 20 miles away) about twice a week. Now that's seriously taking advantage. Most of the time she has nothing to do which also drives me nuts. For every person at our company that has nothing to do, there's another that has too much.

Holy crap! That would surely get you in trouble with our office.. though I guess it would depend on which group manager you had.

It's a serious lack of management, I can't believe no one's caught on to it. Hell, our group manager would notice in a heart beat. If I could get away with something like that, I wouldn't... I have something called a conscience.
