f-ed up my ears last night
Saw Ladytron last night night at a club - great show if you're into them, you should check them out if they hit a club near you - but I was a moron and didn't buy and use earplugs for the show and now I'm paying the price. I've had mild tinnitus in my ears for a while now (low level buzzing/ringing, mainly only noticeable when I'm in a quiet environment). But last night's show has left me with much more audible ringing in my right ear - audible at normal volume levels, and my ears are very sensitive to sound today.
I'm hoping this ringing dies down some in the next few days, but let this be a warning to me and everyone else that you should always wear earplugs to shows and concerts. |

When I was much younger, I went to a MBV concert. The music was amazing, but I was totally deaf for about 2 days. Seriously.

A friend of mine had the same problem; we went to a concert here in Detroit, and he developed tinnitus. That was about 4 years ago. He still has it much of the time. I should mention, he used to listen to music MUCH too loudly most of the time, which didn't help.
