Kickin' It Old School: Funniest Three's Company Role
Although Jack Tripper always got a lot of laughs I thought Janet was the perfect foil to play off of. The landlords made it really work. Mr. Roper was a lot more funny than Mr. Furley so he gets my vote.*

I liked Jack the most, however Helen Roper was always given some good material to work with. Sucks about Ritter, he was funny.

I probably should have voted for Jack, but I always got the funniest laughs after Mr. Roper would rip on Mrs. Roper and then look right at the camera and laugh.

John Ritter was the show, but I, also, enjoyed Norman Fell as brad mentioned above. Suzanne Somers was good when she would jump up and down.

I loved Mr. Roper just because of the way he looked at the camera. It was the stupidest thing in the world, but it cracked me up. I've had discussions with my wife about which landlord was funnier. She liked Furley, but she was a Don Knotts fan. While I thought Mr. Furley and his outfits were funny, nothing could beat Mr. Roper's smugness.
With that said, I'm leaning toward voting for Cindy, just because it's funny that she was even on the show at all. What a throwaway character THAT was.

Nothing was better than Furley having a drink with Jack and his brother Austin. The zenith of the show.
Man, this was the show for me growing up. Once it hit syndication it was on every night. I've seen every single one of them probably at least 3 times.

I dunno. There was always something...dirty...about Janet. Sort of like Shirley from Laverne and Shirley.

same here, saw them all in primetime and then all over again multiple times in syndication. Ah too be young and raised by a tv in the 70's. I surprised myself and went with Stanley, even though Ritter is one of my all time favorites. Fell was such a great actor and the mix of straight man/misogynist is something we havent seen duplicated since. |
