How do you get into the 3D City View to view your improvements?

I've only seen it when you scroll way in on your city. Didn't know there was another view.

So all the improvements are just built around your city? Can you actually see barracks, granaries, etc. or just wonders?

Zoom in close and you can point out all of your improvements. Some are tucked away between buildings and some are away from your city center (like the lighthouse will be on or just off the coast). You do have to know what you are looking for (the Civpedia helps perfectly in this regards). For instance, I remember building the Church of the Nativity (I think that's the one) and I couldn't find it in my city. I looked at the model of it in the Civpedia and realized it was a fairly thin building and then I saw it. |
