Interesting historical breakdown of the NBA draft

Somebody went through every first round draft, and came up with a list showing by slot, how many All-Star selections and MVP winners came from each position. Compared to baseball or football, it seems that picking a sure thing in basketball is much easier than the other sports. An interesting read, at least to me.

Interesting read, most certainly. Although I would also be interested in seeing some statistical breakdowns of what players produced from certain slots. Just cause #7 hasn't produced many all stars, it doesnt mean that it hasn't produced some nice 15 ppg scorers, for instance.
