OT: Xbox to PC Monitor?

I was pondering (for logistical reasons) getting some kind of conversion device to play my old xbox on a 19" flat panel monitor. Anyone have any experience with something that works? I see a few devices that have negative reviews.

The Xbox2vga2 supposedly works, but they say you shouldn't use it with an lcd because those things have native resolutions.

My ATI All-in-Wonder video card came with the 'equipment' to do this.

I run my Xbox through an old TV tuner (Matrox G400TV). Since the tuner was built to just show a TV feed in a windowed mode the image from the Xbox can get a little blurry when you make it larger. I have been very, very pleased with it though. At this point I greatly prefer playing the Xbox through my computer monitor.

I hook my son's Gamecube to his PC monitor through a ViewSonic adapter (I forgot what it's called). I had this device a long time ago when I wanted to hook a VCR to my PC monitor.
