STUPID B_____!!!

Last week a coworker of mine asked me about another coworker, who is a doctor. She has went to him in the past and knows him from before working together (although they do not work together, simply for the same company.) She asked "Would you go to see him?" I replied truthfully that I don't make enough money to afford him, but even if I did it would be too weird since I work too closely with him. I asked her what was wrong and she told me she was tired a lot and wanted to know if something was wrong. I made a joke about her stretching herself too thin, and told her if she wanted to see him, he was good at what he does.

Tonight the doctor tells me he received an email from her saying that she asked me about him and I tried to dissuade her form seeing him!

I have worked with him for over five years. I am pissed that not only did she repeat anything I said, but that she got it all wrong!

I think I need to have a little talk with her... but the doctor said not to say anything.

I'm PISSED!!!

Yes, but you would assume that if a woman opens her mouth she may use some discression, or at least have what comes out of her mouth somewhat resemble what you actually said!

There is the theory of how you can tell one person a story who can repeat it... tem people later the person can repeat it to you and you would not recognize it as the story you told. I completely understand that, but for it to change that much with ONE PERSON??? Man... now I understand completely why she is very sensitive toward people thinking she is a complete fucking moron!!!

So let me get this straight.

She has already used this doctor in the past, but feels the need to solicit opinions regarding him.

She garbles the opinion you gave her.

She then ignores the advice she thinks you gave her and shares this advice with this doctor. Why bother asking you in the first place?

For the sake of your company I hope her role is one that requires no communication.

The fact he sent you an email indicates that he doesn't necessarily believe her side of the story and is probably looking for some clarification. So you're probably still cool with the guy.
