And Ernie Simms goes to...

Florida State, for those who care.

Yay! Now, who is he? I don't follow college recruiting at all.

He is supposed to be one of the top RB/LB recruits in the country. He was looking at Florida, Georgia, Florida State, and Auburn. He was in the news because he wants to wear the #34, apparently in honor of his brother (?). Of course Florida, Georgia and Auburn have all retired that number. He is from Tallahassee. I'm suprised there hasn't been some sort of local stink about him.

There probably has been, but as I said, I don't follow recruiting at all. I barely know the players on the roster.

All I know is that UTEP is getting a player that OU offered because they didn't want his two buddies. One of them is a track stud, so he's getting a track schollie and will walk on to the football team, and the other one will likely ride the bench for four years. But the point is that WE GOT A PLAYER THAT OU WANTED!!!!
