Who thought we'd make a good target market? Is anyone here even under 21? Was an ad agency thinking, "hmm, I bet there's a ton of 13-16 year olds playing an outdated football text sim."

I think we've talked about this before, but...

My impression is they probably have an ad campaign for Sportplanet, not for FOFC. I doubt anyone out there is figuring out what ad space to buy on FOFC, but rather on Sportplanet/Gamespy - which would fit the 13-16 year old group a lot more than FOFC does.

Well, still... you're old enough to be her dad... I think there needs to be a cut-off at some point.

SportsDigs has no ads, and no other gamespy-related garbage.

(go on... make the joke about how it has no other active posters beside myself, either...)

I think you add 5 to your age, and divide by 2. Or somebody else remind us of the formula.

I always thought it was take your age, divide by 2, and add 7 years.

I'm afraid that doesn't work for me, since then I wouldn't be able to date 19 year olds.

So a 2-year old can date an 8-year old and an infant can date a first grader? That doesn't seem right.

I don't believe the equation kicks in until after you turn 21
(subject to other legal restrictions in your state - void where prohibited - see dealer for details).

I'm comfortable with that equation. At least for another 2-3 years.

it does when you consider that an 8 year can't date anyone less than 11

The math doesn't work for the 8-year old: 8 plus 5 divided by 2 yields 6 1/2.

Order of operations. The formula was clarifed to divide then add. Otheriwse as a 32 year old I could date a 32 + 5 = 37/2 = 19.5. And a 24 year old could date a 14 year old. That formula doesn't work.

Well, that doesn't make any sense - then an 8 year old can't date an 8 year old!
