GRIZZLY MAN

Anyone else catch this on the discovery channel?? Didn't see the whole thing but from what I gathered, it was a documentary that was put it out, the guy who did it died and this was a show about him making it.

Anyway, I could care less what it was about. Watching a show like that just makes me feel so much better about my life(not that I dont like my life, just some sarcasm there). This guy was a nutcase and belonged in a hospital. Not even sure why i'm posting this, just something about this show that just hit me and made me realize there really are people out there roaming the streets like this guy.

Great movie - there was a thread here about it a while ago.

He was definitly a nutjob. He kept going on and on about how he was "protecting" the bears, but he was never able to articulate exactly how they were being "helped" by him. If anything, he made them more accustomed to humans, which is never a good thing for a wild animal.

He was a tad unstable, to put it mildly.

I hear he was a little chewy, and not as nutritious as the caribou in the area.

he really never beat his addiction, which is a shame. he just deluded himself into thinking that he was helping these animals, and it killed him. the sad part is that he took out his girlfriend in his blaze of glory.
