Help me with the NL waiver wire.

My NL only fantasy league has a supplemental draft this week which consists of any players who weren't on an NL roster at the beginning of the season. My knowledge of the Cardinals and the NL is decent, but I have no idea who most of these AL stars are. My team drafts third and specific positions aren't really a concern. (I have Chris Duncan and Aaron Sele on my roster right now) Here is a list I put together. Are these ranked even near correct based on fantasy value alone? Am I missing any big names?

1. Clemens
2. Huff
3. Wickman
4. Phillips (traded to Reds like week 1 or 2)
5. Guardado
6. Mench
7. Hillenbrand
8. Belliard
9. Lugo
10. Weaver (local guy)
11. Cordero
12. Nevin

Should I even pick up anyone lower than Lugo?

Chacon should be on that list somewhere.

Jeremy Affeldt might be an interesting pickup.

Aaron Sele just lost his rotation spot to GReg Maddux. Might need a SP

You need to move Cordero up your list considerably actually. Brewers handed the closer duties to him and he has been solid for the last 3 months after a rough April. Weaver is just a body at this point and consider Nevin if you can handle the BA hit but, need HRs. For me, Huff/Mench/Hillenbrand are probably all going to give you the same stat numbers really so, I don't know if I'd put him # 2...

I'd probably go Clemens/(Phillips/Lugo)/(Guardado/Cordero/Wickman)/(Huff/Mench/Hillenbrand/Belliard). Even if you don't need saves or SB's, you could probably spin those off in a trade..

Just my 2 cents.

As a side note, our NL only keeper league handles guys coming over from the AL as a real $ auction. Want Lugo.. spend the $$. Catch is though if you bid and win, you have to keep him for next year otherwise pay $25 or 1/2 the cost of the winning bid to drop him (whichever is greater)
