It is only unnatural if you want to make it hard for someone to hit with a stick.

It's extremely unnatural. The softball pitcher-style windball is pretty natural though.

That was my reaction as well. Still frames of someone running full stride looks like every leg muscle are about ready to tear apart.

I've heard that throwing sidearm is the most natural way. Any truth to this?

I don't think a tendon can extend that far out...

But the tendon doesn't extend that far distal past the elbow...

Looks to me like a very distorted tendon. However, it's tough to say from that photo for sure. Definitely, odd whatever it is.

OK, I don't have a particularly weak stomach, but that picture from JOKER was really fucking unnecessary.

It looks like skin. Is definitely not a tendon. Skin on the olecranon is loose esp. if he has had a bursitis in this area in the past. The baseball pitch is one of the most strenuous tasks on the body. I have a bunch of pics that we use in presentations on the throwing elbow and shoulder. This is one I can use. Of note, Randy Johnson is the best pic to show. He acutally externally rotates his shoulder past 180 degrees.

This is wrong. Throwing a ball from point A to point B overhand is a completely natural act.

It is the ball movement that pitchers use that kills their arms, not the simple act of overhand throwing.
