Commissioner Mode: Switching back and forth?

If you have two commissioners in a league, and one has always run the sims, but new scheduling conflicts have arisen, and we don't want to change the sim schedule by missing days. Can the second commish run the sim twice a week, and the other days the first commish run the sims?

1. Is this even possible?
2. What files are needed to trade back and forth between commissioners?
3. Does this alter the Box Score and Game Log numbers?
4. Are there any other things that might go wrong if this is done?

I haven't commished in a while, but this isn't difficult to do. Both commish's must have the certain file (I cannot for the life of me remember the extension) in order to run sims. As long as each commish is in the correct week when the sim is done, there should be no problems (so make sure that each commish stays current, which I am sure is done anyways)

Subby and Allosaurus do this in FOFL. I think one will sim dummy games when the other sims to keep the file numbers in check. Pretty sure they just run it off of whatever the current file is.

This is pretty tedious - the second commish has to make sure they have generated the same number of boxscores and logs as the first commish - otherwise the box and log numbers don't match up and there could be some overwriting...simply copying the logs and boxscores over won't do it.

When I started helping Allo run FOFL, I had to set up a solo league and run about 8 years of games before I caught up to the FOFL box and logs numbers.

ping: suggested FOF2K6 MP enhancements...

I think there's a file that keeps track of the box/log numbers; I just don't know which one it is. I've moved my entire install folder over to another computer and run sims before, and the numbers were fine.

At one point or another, someone identified the file. I just can't remember.

Ok, but if we are doing this for a few weeks, which I don't think include any games, that doesn't harm box score/game log #'s do they?

We are simming FA acquisition periods, Staff Signing, etc.
