Tampa Tigers?

Tigers have nothing to do with Tampa. May I suggest the Tampa Thunder? It's cool and it's area appropriate.

I'll bite.

Minnesota Mariners - Minneapolis, where all the pro sports teams are located, is land locked. Duluth has a harbor on the great lakes, but I think that is stretching it.

Columbus Clippers - Another land locked city: clipper is an ocean going sailing ship. Plus there actually is a minor league baseball team with that name.

The Phoenix Flames... I think that was the name of the groupthink team Kodos and I had going a long time ago in FOF2001.

Plus the Columbus Clippers are a AAA baseball team - I'm open to other suggestions to "enhance" the names

Tampa Thunder is pretty good
