Ben Rothisburger

is he that good? what if the steelers would've drafted Joey Harrington - he'd probably have the ring - I see more raw talent in him - Ben is a sytems qb

Well I definitely wouldn't call him the next Joe Mountena.

Dwaynte Codpopper is the easy MVP choice this year. Total steal for the Dauphins.

I think Tom Brady's numbers could be down without Branch

Supposedly he was behind the coach's son in HS til his senior year, so he didn't go to a high profile program. One more year of starting and he probably goes somewhere like Ohio State. Where he would have probably been high profile enough to get drafted ahead of a Manning.

Going into the draft I never would have dreamt that he would fall to the Steelers pick. Phoenix(even though Fitz is a 'effin beast) and Cleveland really screwed the pooch there.

He lead the league in yards per attempt last year, and was top five in yards per attempt(minus YAC). Obviously he benefits from not having to throw it alot, that's just the Steeler way.

i disagree with the phoenix portion of this...they had no other tools in place...taking ben would have yielded similar results to what is happening to david carr...instead they got a monster receiver, much better than they could have gotten this year, and added matt leinert.

cleveland on the other hand, molests collies.

Dude, they drafted receivers in the first and second rounds the previous year.

It was from The Waterboy, thought thats where you were going with that. Homer J was kind enough to point out that I screwed up the whole Mantegna part of it however.

WRs are pre-madonnas - I'd never take one high in the draft - a lot of things need to go right for them to even get their hands on the ball - a qb, OL, or RB has much greater impact - shoot, even DL and shut-down corners like Nate Clements
