Question about salary cap setting in FOF?

What's a good range to use so that salaries don't spiral way out of control, but at the same time half the league won't be over the cap?

I'm starting with 1970 rosters btw.

Bump.

And when does the salary cap raise kick in?

Because I set it from 20 to 28 as an experiment, but didn't see the salary cap go up after end season, so I'm $2.26 mill. over the cap

I usually use the setting of 30 to 30. It makes it a lot easier for me to keep the salaries in perspective, plus gives you a little room if you have to dump a guy now and then. I don't particularly like the high jumps.

Thanks. I'll probably have to restart the 1970 with those settings.
