What happened to jbmagic?

Now not only his edit button has disappeared, but his whole account and at least some of his old posts are gone.

Just wondering what I missed.

No, actually, I was testing out how some of the new features and updated versions of old features work with the upgrade. I was playing with the changes to the ghostban feature. I had forgotten to un-ghostban him. Done now.

Re: What happened to jbmagic?

Apparently he wasn't banned enough to stop cross-posting. I think he cross-posted Doug's (lighthousekeeper's) complaints on patch 1.03 on the OOTP boards. Just a cut and paste, so I hope he didn't copyright it. Funny, because he says he played the hell out of the demo with the new patch and then just cuts and pastes the post from here. Silly.

Maybe that's the problem. Maybe all of his posts here are just cross-posts from another site -- like some sort of curious MySpace site for English as a second language individuals.

I don't think he's played ootp one bit. How can you cut and paste one persons whole post and pass it off like it was yours?

That's has always been the retard's style. He posts on all of these topics without knowing anything about them just to be extremely annoying and/or trying to fit it. At some point it shouldn't be tolerated any longer.

Now now, let's be fair. Some of the post was in his own words...

Hmm, I must have missed that part. I'm pretty sure he was using the same words everyone else uses.

Not necessarily in the same order or context but still.

You're probably right, I should have googled the quote before assuming he wrote it. My bad :o

Actually I was paraphrasing the great George Carlin who said that in court they always tell you to "tell us, in your own words..."

George said, "I don't have my own words. I use the same one everyone else uses."

Todd

I have played the demo 1.03 this weekend

I gave a link here at fofc and they can see who posted it when they click on the link. So I wasn't passing it as my own.

I am glad I did because posting it at ootp forum will help bring the attention of the AI issues still in 1.03 as you can see the response over there.

If there are issues with ootp, people need to post at the ootp forum too because most of the time if its posted here at FOFC only it won't get notice.

So when are you going to buy the game jb? Or are you just going to demo the AI testing?

LISTEN. As stated, there is probably an honest reason why lhk's league is doing what it did as Markus has posted on this already. If you played the demo so much, then post the AI issues you are having.. BUT alas.. you can't and choose to post other people's gripes to stir up trouble.

Give it a rest already.. lhk's post was address without you posting it again.

Next to go is your copy and paste functions.. but then your posts would all be blank.

You guys need to leave jb alone. He's going through a battle within himself, yet he's brave enough to try to work things out online. What you don't see is what he's dealing with at home...
