A little surprised about Stanford (& Notre Dame to some extent) considering the academic requirements. It's amazing how they've managed to get the talent to compete. I guess the inconsistenty in their performance is also a testament to how difficult it is to be consistently competitive when faced with academic constraints.

In all honesty, I was just looking at that strangely because of the "Pac-10 four teams" posted by Toddzilla. I know the Huskies were on there. Looks like my cut-and-paste didn't catch Washington (20) at the bottom of the list (seriously, try it, it blocks out UW but they're missing when it's pasted!).

I will edit the list above.

It'd be interesting to see the entire conference breakdown to get a more complete picture of how the conferences compare. Also a position-by-position breakdown - I wonder if the perception that the Pac-10 doesn't play defense is confirmed by a lower number of defensive players in the NFL.

This reminds me of the NFL2k versions that included the teams that were for the areas the players went to college.

It's too bad the FOF generated drafts don't resemble this list. I hate the hodgepodge of small colleges that produce the top FOF draft picks, particularly when you see the #1 overall player come out of a college that folded its football program several years ago. A tad bit of realism in this area would be great.

Yeah, several years into a career I get annoyed with this. In a future version it would be great if the smaller school guys were not scouted as accurately(possibly open for larger booms), perhaps were not even automatically scouted at all(a user option perhaps).
