Stupid Sports Betting Question...

Coudn't find the answer to this one on Bodog's site...

If you make a bet on a pro football futures line that looks like this:

Broncos over 10 regular season wins
Broncos under 10 regular season wins

Does the house win both ways if the Broncos win exactly 10 games? Or do you get your money back?

I believe that would be a push.

You would get your money back unless there is specifically a "tie" option. Most bets don't have these, soccer being a notable exception.

Most books dont set the o/u on an even number to specifically avoid this push situation.

they'd rather juice up the odds and profit from the 9 1/2 or 10 1/2 lines.

So, a push is a push. Still it does tie up your cash awhile.

You will get your money back on 10 wins. They make their money if either of the other two situations occur as they will take a percentage of the winning bet plus all of the losing bet.
