Damn, how did this matchup occur so soon. I love both of them, but I have to give the nod to Kate.

I know she is going to get blown out, but Tiffani is my #1. So it sucks to see her go out so early, but I know I'm on a pretty lonely island having her so high on my list.

I voted for Tiffany only because I decided to treat these votes as any other American would, so I voted for the person I had actually heard of without regard to the merit of the other person' position (or looks, as the case may be). I'm not sure I've ever even heard of Kate Beckinsale.

I'm sad these two got matched up so early. They would both be high on my list.

I've never quite figured out how to vote in a situation like this where Kate is much hotter in her Underworld/Van Helsing roles, but Tiffani is hotter in general life. Tough decisions.

I only have because of this forum. I consider myself relatively up on pop culture, but I've missed out on this one. The only movie I think I've seen with her in it based on IMDB is Pearl Harbor, and I try to forget as much of that as I can.

I'm really pretty amazed at her cult-like status here considering I view her as not busting into the mainstream as a hottie unlike our other top 4-8 contestants.

I just looked up her IMDb profile and I've never seen a single movie she's been in. I'm sure I've heard of her around this forum, I just don't remember it. Otherwise, I'm not sure when I would have run into her. I'm assuming she's never done anything stupid or crazy that would have had Rkmsuf or Bucc posting gossip columns about her.

Since you don't know who Kate Beckinsale is and think that the only reason people find Natalie Portman hot is because of her role in the Star Wars prequel than it's time to start "boning-up" (pun intended) on pop culture a bit. The world is passing you by...

Well, it's clearly time to stop buying CDs and downloading music and high time you started buying DVDs and downloading movies. You are behind the times.

That said, I can't think of any Kate Beckinsale movies worth buying. "Underworld" is probably the least horrible of her more recent work, but "Underworld II" is poop and "Van Helsing" ranks up there with some of the worst movies of all time.

Hell no! After we had our first kid, I realized I wasn't a movie fan. I see maybe 4 or 5 new movies a year and have been to the theater probably 3 times in the past 7 years, if you exclude kids movies.

Well, I thought Star Wars was a PART of why she was popular with geeks...

Anyway, I'm pretty comfortable with my lack of knowledge of her as the movies she has been in are crap-fests so why would I think to go see them?

Ok, I might have been a little harsh, but for most women (and Kate in specific) long hair >>>>>>> short hair.

If you avoid all pop culture that could be considered a "crap-fest" (which, is probably around at least 75-80% of it, if not more), then you will never be "relatively up on pop culture." In order to be "relatively up on pop culture" you have to experience many a "crap-fest" or at least be very aware of their existence and the details surrounding them. For example, I fully admit that I have a huge gap in my pop culture knowledge because my strong dislike of reality TV.

A true measure of a woman's beauty is if she can look good with short hair. Or, dare I say, bald. (Oh, I think do dare. I must certainly do...)
