NFL TV Map - Week 2

Even though Desnudo was kind enough to post these maps in the Week 1 map thread, I'm making a new thread for the sake of consistency.

CBS (1:00PM Eastern):

CBS (4:15PM Eastern):

FOX:

It's hard being a Denver fan without DirecTV in western Pennsylvania. I'll have to choose between the battle of Ohio (CLE/CIN) or a damned NFC East game (NYG/PHI) in the early games. Then, my late game is NE/NYJ. Ugh. I feel indifferent about the Ohio teams, but I really don't enjoy intradivisional games in the two East divisions. I know there are rivalries and all that, but I generally find both the AFC East and NFC East very unappealing.

I'll probably watch most of the CLE/CIN game, and then I'll turn on the Pats and Jets as background noise while I scratch myself or something. It's good to have background noise while scratching.

The maps this week seem more logical, except I'm still a bit puzzled by the AZ/SEA and NYG/PHI matchup showing in south florida...

There's an early home game for Miami on CBS, so that's why the Miami market has to get a late game on FOX. As far as the area north of Miami (I guess that's around Orlando and east out to the coast), I'm going to have to guess on this one. It's probably because that area is technically an AFC team's secondary market (the Jaguars, in this case) so FOX is just airing the national game, which is NYG/PHI.

Yeah, we're getting some shitty games this weekend. I hope something other than that Eagles/Giants ends up getting switched into the market, I'm sure that's doubtful.

Now that I look at the map, all the early CBS games are shitty. I wish I could be about 100 miles south to see Baltimore destroy the Raiders, though. What's the NFL team record for sacks in a game?

Wait. Don't answer until after that game on Sunday.

But what I'm saying is why don't they get TB/ATL like everyone else?

Not sure if you have any choice other than going out to a sports bar.

Do what I do when I want to see Colts games.

Yeah, exactly... you have to get to the point where you're like me - would getting DirecTV be more cost effective?

So far I still go out to Hooters (it's the only place without going 20 minutes at least to the next town over) probably 8-12 times a season to watch Colts games. But I credit some of that to the experience as it can be pretty fun, plus I can still watch my Skins and the Colts at the same time when they play at the same time.

I go to a Sportsbar to watch Colts games. I'm tempted to go the black market route and subscribe to the $3/month site to watch them at home though.

CBS is only showing three games in HD this weekend? What a load of crap. They should be thankful that they've had the AFC the last few years, because as a football network, they suck.

FOX manages to broadcast just about all their games in HD. What's CBS's excuse? At least they aren't as bad as ABC, who decides big time college football games on Saturday afternoons aren't worthy of HD coverage.
