Haven't seen a thread yet?

Anyone else see the Emmitt Smith/Jerry Rice thing on Sunday NFL Countdown? That was funny.

Yeah, the Emmitt/Jerry bit was the funniest thing I've seen on that show in a long time.

Can't wait to see the new packages for Bush in the NO game, as well as my Eagles hopefully beating the Giants..

David Akers may be the only kicker who would actually start a fight on the opposing bench....

Yeah. Love the fire, yet hate the possibility of him getting hurt.

Colts up 7-0 thanks to a fumble by David Carr, and a quick strike to Brandon Stokely

I thought L.J Smith was going to have a quiet day today against the Giants' defense, so I sat him in my FF leagues. I'm suddenly regretting that decision.

Schobel shows hands of stone. Sheesh, McNabb threw a perfect little TD pass to him and he bobbles and then drops it.

Could be a lot worse for the Raiders. We are lucky to only be down 6-0 instead of 14-0.

First two snaps Brooks touched the ball had resulted in fumbles. I never seen that before.

Yes Andrew Walters comes in for the Raiders as QB

Brooks should be release for what he did. He has no heart at all.

This hardly seems like the same team that got hammered by the Bears last week. Of course the Packers whipped the Saints last year too and promptly resumed sucking aftwards..

Yeah, the Saints' defense can do wonders for an offense.

Stallworth is wide open for a TD!!!! 14-7 Eagles.

Oh yeah, I'm really regretting not starting LJ Smith. He has 75 yards receiving early in the 2nd quarter.

-- Art Shell says that only a couple of the nine sacks taken by Raiders quarterbacks last Monday were on seven-step drops, so shorter drop-backs aren't necessarily the solution. One solution is not to play against Shawne Merriman. Another would be a nine-step drop, which would result in the two defensive ends colliding head-on.

I thought this quote from the Betting Fool was pretty funny. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...PG4LL76AB1.DTL

Yeah, I don't think that Parley is going to work out for you. The Eagles' run defense looks very good early, and now they are starting to get more pressure on Manning and they just caused what could have been called a fumble (I don't think his arm was coming forward yet..) Either way, the Eagles already have 4 sacks and it seems like they are starting to take control of this game.

Now, Eli gets away with a BS grounding. He wasn't out of the tackle box. Nevermind, they called it late!

I can't wait to see all of these experts on TV who predicted the Eagles' to finish 4th in the NFC East start slurping them this week.

Heart? He's never changed JB. He is what he is. The same QB you thought would lead them to a 10-6 record.

Sadly, the Raiders game is one of the games I'm getting this week. I'm not sure it's possible that I could be watching a worse game. Thank God the Eagles/Giants game is on the other channel. How I miss my DTV.

Chris Simms playing like garbage in Atlanta. Vick playing pretty well.

Lostin this Ravens/Raiders fiasco is how the Ravens ony have a 9 point lead after dominiating the game. I don't think they are nearly the team some people thing they are.

Sadly i must agree, he get's too nervous when under pressure, probably because the lack of protection from the Oline (4 sacks in the first two posessions) and then starts to make stupid mistakes.

Eagles now have5 sacks by 5 different players. But they are only up by a TD. This should be a 14 point lead right now. Giants have to protect Eli better or it won't matter.

edit: Plaxico going off on the OL. This won't end well. . .

LJ Smith has just under 100 yards in the 1st half. I can't believe I sat him in favor of Todd Heap in my big money league.

The Eagles blew a good opportunity on that last drive, but the defense is totally dominating the Giants since that first drive of the game.

He honestly hasn't had a bad game. He also taunted the fans on his first two catches. And happens to be down 24 points.

And I happen to enjoy watching the Bears shut his ass up.

Yeah, same here. I'm worried that I'm going to think that the Bears offense is actually a lot better, and then be disappointed next week in Minny.
