For straight up jamming I have to go with Unsung.

More Than a Feeling or Infected.

Least favorite - Ziggy Stardust or No One Knows. (Does that song EVER end...)

Infected. But I'm a bit biased....I'm a huge Bad Religion fan.

Cheers!

Stellar, with More Than a Feeling close behind... followed by Cochise and Take Me Out.

I love the main riff in Stellar, and when you first get into a "power" feeling at the beginning (you know where the song first sounds like the guitar isn't plugged in... and then it just explodes).

I love Ziggy Stardust, and Stellar is my favorite for the same reason MikeVic mentioned.

for me, it's Even Rats. its not the best song in the game obviously, but it's very fun to play, and the style changes a few times, too, adding to the fun.

if i had to choose a "real" song, it'd be unsung. i just like scoring 330,000 points on expert

I really dig "playing" Ziggy Stardust. It's strange, because I'm not a big fan of the original version.

Oh I like Unsung as well.

And I don't know the names of some of the original songs on the bottom, but there were a couple that I loved played too. Is there a soundtrack available with those original songs? I really liked some of them...

I like jamming to Hey You, which I had never heard until I played Guitar Hero and I really liked.

Thunder Kiss 65 is probably my fave to play, but Godzilla, Texas Flood, & Crossroads are all right up there.

Smoke on the Water and Cochise get my vote for least interesting to play, while No One Knows on expert gets my vote for most annoying.

I'm also in the Even Rats and More Than a Feeling camp. I think it's a testimony to the good job the producers did in picking songs that so many of us can come up with different tracks we see as the best in the game. No One Knows is definitely irritating though. But I finally muddled through it on hard after a couple weeks of trying.

Even Rats is easily the best of the bonus tracks IMO, both in terms of being fun to play and of being just a very nice song. I don't think the band (The Slipp, from memory?) could have possibly chosen a worse title for the track, though.

Even Rats is amazing, and I've gone so far as to acquire the song for my real life library. As for favorite song to play...

Ziggy Stardust
Killer Queen
Crossroads
Stellar

It'd probably come from that group. I love trying to rip through the solos on Godzilla, Frankenstein and the rest of the tier 6 songs, but I get bored playing on anything but Expert, and those songs still eat me alive.

Symphony of Destruction

There's something about playing that Queen song that I just love. Definitely not one of my favorite songs to listen to, but in this game its at the top of my list. The beat is really funky and the lead parts are amazing to play.

I've taken a liking to Godzilla in recent weeks. There's something really great about a song that matches up its lyrics with its music. The opening chords perfectly mirror what I imagine to be Godzilla walking through Tokyo.
