FFL - Urgent Opinion Needed
On the table:
I proposed: S.Alexander Fitzgerald Chambers for W. Parker R. Brown T. Glenn That would leave me with RB: Parker, C. Taylor, R. Brown, D. Foster, Addai, M.Morris WR: Driver, Glenn, Wilford, Watson Rationale is Chambers and Alexander are just looking like busts. Name wise this looks stupid but production wise it might work. And I keep Maurice Morris.

i would try to dump alexander. without hutchinson and with what looks like possibly a bum wheel (although i havn't heard the news today) might make sense to go with a "lower risk" back even if the "name" isn't there. And R. Brown + W. Parker should see plenty of the ball in those offenses.

Hate to give up Fizgerald but I get to dump Alexander(keep his backup) and Chambers who is just looking like a tease with Culpepper. R. Brown has outproduced Alexander so far. Big gamble. They called me trying just to swap Parker and Fitzgerald with other minor parts and I parlayed the talk into a blockbuster deal. Feels like the only chance to get out from under Alexander this season.

You are absolutely insane to make that deal. Alexander will undoubtedly end up a better fantasy back than Parker, and both Chambers and Fitzgerald will end up better than Brown and Glenn. You lose at every end avenue that deal.
Edit: Oops, is that Ronnie Brown or Reggie? I thought Reggie. If it is Ronnie, he is likely to end up scoring more than Chambers. But, I still think you're panicking. Alexander and Fitzgerald are likely the two best players in that deal, and you're giving them both up.

Ronnie Brown Did you see Alexander this weekend? Or the week before? I like the second half schedule he has though. I just need to feel like Alexander can get it together for the stretch run.

Before you run away from Alexander, consider that this line (and offense) is still finding it's groove this year. The guy has scored what, 102 touchdowns in the last 5 seasons (plus the start of this one) and appears to be getting more involved in the passing game than the past few years. If you give him up now, you'll have had him for likely 3 of his 5 lowest fantasy point totals of the season.
Add that to the fact that I think in the end it will make the line better to have Spencer in there than Womack (who likely comes back to the lineup as the utility backup, a role he excelled at last season), and Sims is going to get some valuable playing time in the next couple week. These guys will get it done. |

Breaking news: Alexander is out indefinitely with a broken foot.
Use this information as you will.

Exactly. I'd make that deal in a minute if your partner is still willing. Alexander's injury seems like it could be serious..
