Talking Ketchum's ''Winter Soldiers.''

I've just finished reading (and typing a 9 page report) on Richard Ketchum's Winter Soldiers for my military history class, and I liked it. It shed new light on the failing revolution and the decisions and circumstances which revolved around the Battles of Trenton and Princeton.

Similar to the book 1776, but with less personal perspectives and more on ''the big picture'' and strategic and tactical dispositions of both the Americans, Hessians and British.

Also had lots of info on Hessians (psyche, trraining and the province), and British.

I would highly recommend it to history buffs and casual readers alike.

SYour welcome, The first half of the book talks mostly about the rift betwen parliament and the continental congress, and the lives of british commanders, soldiers etc, also goes into thE New York Campaign, with the latter half dealing with the Winter Campaign.
