Wireless Router/VPN

Does anyone have any experience with wireless routers and connecting through them with a VPN client? I am using a Cisco VPN client and have tried using a Netgear WGR614 and a Linksys WRT54G router and neither can use the VPN over a wireless connection. The VPN authentication works, but no traffic is passed. If I make a wired connection to the router or connection directly to the cable modem, everything works fine. Anyone have any suggestions of a better router for this task?

hmmm, dunno but I found my problem with the router going in and out was solved by switching the channel & GHZ it ran on....

you sure its not a setting in your router, under the wireless settings?

Anyone else have thoughts? Does anyone connect to their VPN over a wireless connection?

If you're just looking for a wireless router that works with VPN right out of the box, try this Belkin router. I connect back to the office via Cisco VPN client nearly every night and have never experienced a problem.

Thanks, that is what I was looking for. I'll make a Best Buy run tomorrow and see if I can find one. I'm just really sick of troubleshooting this stuff and I would love for it to work out of the box.

Do you know if you can connect multiple laptops to multiple VPNs with that router?
