My Baltimore Ravens looking great this season.

My Baltimore Ravens looking great this season.

The offensive line is looking great and giving QB mcnair time to do his thing.

The defense is playing well.

I hope they can continue this for the rest the the regular season.

Ray Lewis is nfl mvp.

2006 Ravens greatest nfl team of all time.

Did the league just change over to a 20 game season?

These Ravens are so good, that the '27 Yankees are now referring to themselves as the "2nd greatest professional sports team of all time."

While your page was refreshing, Ray Lewis already recorded a 10 tackle head start for next weeks game.

In all seriousness, Baltimore is doing very well.

Their defense is great. Mcnair will make them great on offense in due time once their running game gets going.

How dare you label that defense merely "great." Ray Lewis is going to stab you the next time you dare disrespect the NFL's Finest.

I thought the Ravens offense was horrible, especially McNair, except for their last drive against the Chargers. Marty's conservative approach, plus some poor special teams play was responsible for that loss.

Jamal Lewis needs to run a lot better.

If he gets going , the offense will improve a lot.

I think this parody thread blows.

As a Packer fan, I feel I should have done this a couple of weeks ago.

I don't need no stinkin' sympathy. I am actually taking this season much better then the last two. I expected them to suck, so it is just sit back and enjoy what I can.

I am also taking pleasure in ripping on the GM and head coach, much more then I ever could have imagined.

I really hope the Ravens make it to the Super Bowl. What the Titans did to McNair was absolutely classless. The dude can still play at a pretty high level and he was the frigging franchise face.

What's really sad for the Packers is that Favre is losing his touch and Rodgers... hahaha... Rodgers looks absolutely horrid.

The QB situation in Green Bay is becoming atrocious. Of course, it doesn't help that Jennings is the only good receiver on the team, though Franks is passable.

The problem is, Rogers could have been excellent, but they ruined him by pandering to Brett's ego. He's junk now, they need to draft another QB.

Huh? How does sitting for a year or two ruin a guy?

Funny that this comes up in a thread about the Ravens, who have a quarterback who wasn't the full-time starter in his first 2 years.

I concede that McNair did play a hell of a lot more in his first two years than Rodgers will, but I still thought it was pretty funny.

Heh, good point...

I would argue that a whole lot more guys are ruined by being thrown in (particularly with a line like GB has) too early and getting killed. I'm really baffled as to how someone can say that a QB is ruined by spending some time on the bench learning the game.

I disagree (of course ).

Favre, which I think more people are realizing this year, has not lost as much as people said (mostly last year and this offseason). I hear much more positive comments on Favre this season, and the blame is rightfully being blamed on a young, untalented supporting cast. You can always bitch at him for making dumb plays (like INT #2 last night), but he has cut down on those some this year even. That is just mental, not physical though.

If having your rookie guards stepping on your feet and letting pressure up the middle, along with your WR's dropping balls (Driver had a horrible night last nightfor some reason) means you are losing your touch then so be it. He isn't what he was 6 years ago, but he can still be very very good if on a better team.

As for Rogers, I wonder where all the negative coments on him come from? Have guys seen him play that much in regular season games? If so then he must be playing for someone else other then the Packers. From all that I read during camp from reporters who cover the Packers non-stop is that Rogers looks much better this year then he did last year. He has also said he feels much more comfortable this year as things have slowed down for him some. So he can still develop more, and hopefully into a good QB. Getting a better o-line in front of him though would help him (or any QB).
