Sale of Old Uber-Printers
Anyone know a good place I could contact to try and sell one of our old uber-printers, by chance? Agency picked up a new one, so we've got this behemoth of a printer we're trying to sell off. eBay just doesn't seem like too terribly good of place to try and sell a $2500 printer.
I get a cut of the money if I manage to find a buyer, so, needless to say, I'm moderately interested in getting rid of it. ![]() |

Are you talking about one of those old style impact printers that stand about 3 1/2 feet tall and when it prints, it shakes the earth?
Worth a shot to at least look on Ebay at prices.

I don't know about Chicago, but here there's a used office supply store that will sell stuff on commission. Although when I looked into it a couple years ago you could do better selling stuff on ebay when you factored in the 50% commission the store wanted to sell your old stuff. That's assuming you can find a buyer on ebay of course.
