Lap 242 -- YELLOW FLAG: Mark Martin crashes hard on the frontstretch. J.J. Yeley came down to go onto pit road. Martin ducked below him to avoid the car and clipped Yeley, sending Martin violently into the wall nose-first. Robby Gordon is also involved. Martin is OK. Gordon drives away. Yeley drives to the pits with Martin's crew chief Pat Tryson trying to get to him.

I was watching parts of the end of this race. Yeley apparently let Kenseth through on the inside, then started moving down from the middle of the track as Martin was trying to go by. Yeley (in his interview right after) claims he waved to indicate he was pitting, and one of the announcers immediately said you can't see much with all the stuff in those cars. A minute later, when they're interviewing Martin, he said the same thing. I'm amazed that Martin was in such a good mood. He screamed that we was having fun, even though he admitted that the Cup is basically not meant to be for him.

Yeley shouldn't of cut down in the middle of turn 4.
