I have 6 friends coming over (first one just got here - rest said they will be here in 10 minutes or so) who are all fans of the Saints. I'm wearing my McNabb jersey. Should be fun

Dallas has forgotten how to tackle. They have four face mask penalties less than 7 minutes into the game.

CBS doesn't broadcast it's games in HD!? At least, not the TEN vs. WSH one.

They typically only do about 30-50% of their games in HD (Fox is more like 75-90%).

From the one look I had at it, I didn't think that last one was a facemask...looked to me like Hurd got the front collar. Still, the Cowboys are playing some UGLY ball right now.

hey vtbub...how've you been? havn't seen you around much lately!
discuss here: okay...how about "i have a full slate of crappy games on my tv this week, to the point where i'm doing other things and just checking in occasionally. way to go nfl...way to ruin my weekend with DAL-HOU, ATL-NYG, NYJ-MIA and then DEN-OAK. There honestly isn't a game in there that compels me to go "oh wow I wanna sit down and watch this!" With the possible exception of highlight-reel Vick who is on right now. |

If the Saints win today(which is a big if even up by 10 right now) can we please stop asking if the Saints are for real "Experts"? Thank you.

Saints are getting some favorable breaks today, need to take advantage. Although Duece being out for now hurts, so I guess that about evens things out.
Getting some good pressure on Mcnabb has been the key to holding the Eagles scoreless so far, need to keep it up. |

After a catch, WR Reggie Brown for the Eagles was surrounded by three Saint's defensive backs and out ran them all to the endzone (they were all IN FRONT of him).
Is Brown really that fast, or the Saints' secondary that slow? |

A little of both. CB was our biggest off season need, and the best (granted, a rookie) safety went down last week. For the last decade, there used to be two or three big plays like that every quarter. In THAT context, that play was an aberration. Towie (Whew@saints recovering the mcallister fumble)

If the Skins lose this game they need to freakin' give Jason Campbell the first team work in practice this week, start him the rest of the season, and just accept that the season is done.

Oh, god. I think i just shit myself.
The only thing that would have made this game any better for me would have been a different color commentary man, other than Aikman. Peyton coached the game of his life. Of MY life. lol WHO DAT!!

Not being able to actually watch the game I have to look at the stats and wonder WTF happened? I gotta return to my long held belief that Chuck bresnahan is a complete fucking moron.
Grats to the Buccs, they should've lost this game by a lot based on the play by plays, penalties and an offensive line thats not playing up to its ability seem to be killing us. I'm not even going to start in on what I think of the defense. Gah. What a pathetic way to come out of the bye week. |

Man, I sure hope that isn't a sign for things to come tonight. Interesting games. The Rams continue to be the "lucky" team this year. Seems to be one team every year that gets nearly every break. Opposing teams fumble the ball, hit the upright, get the key penalty. Only an incredible kick by Brown prevented them from carrying that to a 5-1 record. The Saints look pretty darned good. I've never seen Deuce run this well. Huge loss for the Redskins. The Ravens defense was carved up like a turkey and the Texans continue to look horrible. Chargers and Niners already tied up with TD's in the afternoon games. Steelers seem to be looking good in a game they must have. |

[quote=RendeR;1274801] I gotta return to my long held belief that Chuck bresnahan is a complete fucking moron.
quote] He is an idiot. Both of our coordinators are. One because he refuses to blitz, except on 3rd and 3 when they have called a damn quick slant every 3rd and medium in the game and then they tear it off for 15 yards. Our offensive coordinator is because he stops using Rudi (even if it's not there you keep pounding) until he tries to run out the clock with 4:30 left, then calls his patented and yet creative shovel pass play on 3rd and 12. I've been saying it for two years. Both those guys need to go. They don't understand what kind of talent they have. With the secondary we have, especially when Dexter Jackson comes back, we should be rushing 5 or 6 EVERY play. |
