College Hoops 2k7: PAL/NTSC regions suck

I understand why region locks are included on consoles and their games, and in most cases it doesn't bother me all that much. The news that 2K sports will not be releasing their college basketball title in PAL however really, really, really, really sucks, as I'll never be able to play it on my XBOX 360.

What's weird, Groundhog, is that Football Manager (which is a PAL title) plays fine on my NTSC Xbox 360.

I wonder if they specifically coded for that or what, though.

playing FM on a console?? ewwww i can only imagine

DT, it's actually pretty solid. My one gripe is because of time differential I can never get a network match going.

I could be wrong here, but I seem to recall reading once that PAL will sometimes play OK on NTSC, but if you try play NTSC on PAL it messes up the graphics completely. It might be a case-by-case type of situation though. I'll do some more reading on it.

It's conceivable.

I have a few PAL games; Shenmue II on my DC, I have to switch it from 50 to 60 Hz (or vice versa), but they encoded for both.

FM 360 just plays no problem.
