Just above the offensive backfield button. It means that the player is tired.

another question that's probably already been answered but that I missed in all the threads. What does the "x" mean on the player card's injury history. For example, I have one that says:
wk4 leg injury (x) wk1 shoulder injury |

Hehe. My bad. Must have missed that one. This mofo needs to freakin' suck it up, then. Tired. Clyde Connelly, you're costing me $3.75M in cap room this year. Get your tired butt out there and hit somebody, dadgummit, you little Dustin Vaitekunas wannabe!

Yes, re-injured.
You know, speaking of injury related features, I just noticed that if one of your QBs is hurt you no longer have to sign another one to fill in the mandatory 3 spots in the roster, wow, this is huge! |

This change was actually made in one of the FOF2004 patches, FWIW. |

If I was him, I'd tell you I'm too hurt to play. if you want me to put my career on the line and play injured, you better learn my name properly before even thinking about asking me again ![]()

I'm starting to wonder about this, I'm seeing a lot of situations like this, where the X will be on the player's first injury of a season, or a different body part. Guess we need this clarified from Jim. |

Are they injuries from previous seasons? i.e. player hurts his knee in Season 1, then doesn't hurt it again until Season 2?

Guys, are we sure that the (x) near the injury description means "re-injured"???
Look at this guy: ![]() It was his first knee injury, not his second. He's been out 2 full years, and then he incredibly came back. My thinking was that the (x) could mean "possibly carrer-ending injury". This is obviously a rare exception, because he came back at his full potential, but the (x) makes you notice that the guy already had a career-ending injury, and it's high-risk. What do you think? |

I've seen the x on everything from very serious knee injuries to mild ankle problems. The first few times I saw the x it was always on the same injury that a player had earlier in the season, since then I've seen it with no previous injury, or a different kind of previous injury happening in a previous season, etc.
