Hate it or Love it.....The never ending meal

Do you hate it or love it, when you are eating dinner, and you just can't stop because it's so good? It's not exactly the healthiest meal, but you don't care. You keep getting more and more, than you ask your roomates, or whomever it is you may be living with, if it's ok you go ahead and finish whats left and we'll figure out whats for lunch tomorrow.

You know you are full, and you will be paying for it later, but once again, you just don't care, you keep on eating bite after bite. You aren't sure if you should be enjoying yourself, or if you think you are gonna be sick. It seems as if it's a meal you can eat all night long of there was enough. I sure do love these meals.

I should add, it's not even a good dinner. It's Tyson chicken tenders, instant mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, but man did it hit the spot.

(and also I should add, as dumb of a post as it may be, i wanted to figure out how to post a poll)

Does No mean Hate and Yes mean Love? I really don't understand what you're asking here.

really wasn't trying to ask anything, just trying to figure out this whole poll thing, and since i just finished one of these meals i figured, hey why not make it my poll. But, since you ask, yes can mean yes you love it, no means you hate it.

Did you layer it with fried chicken, add some cheese, and topped it all off with some gravy?

Oh man, melted cheese on top of those potatoes would have been delicious. Even though it was already 4 cheese instant potatoes, or something like that. I think you just ruined my fantastic memory of my meal, ISiddiqui.

We ate at Ruffino's tonight which is IMHO the BEST restaurant in Baton Rouge. I loved the meal going down, but definitely ate too much, and will be regretting it for a few hours as it will surely keep me up.

Why did I immediately think of a rap song with The Game featuring 50 Cent?
Silly me.

No, but I've done that in the past.. although I like a bit of applesauce mixed in for good measure.

Ah, DiNardo's...err, Ruffino's. That's some great stuff. I was on a college visit to LSU right after it opened and some family friends took us there. It was a bit out of my price range in college, but I've been back a couple of times in the last few years and I'm glad to know it's still top-notch. I need to get back to South Louisiana soon, just for the food.

We've been there about 5 times since moving close to Baton Rouge 5 1/2 months ago. The food has never disappointed and the service was only bad once (last night - they forgot my wife's soup and then brought it with the entree.) Still our favorite place to eat and we've tried a few of the even more expensive places too.

The Imperial Filet is out of this world (so are the chicken and veal parm.)
