New to the game...
Hello everyone!!!
I'm new to FOF, i've bought my copy yesterday. I'd like to ask a couple of questions to more experienced players...thanks for the help and sorry if my questions have been asked before.... 1- I have 2 computers. I'd like to install the game on both. Hoe does the elicense works?? What if i need to format my pc. Or if i buy a new pc?? 2- I'd like to play with historical rosters (i've seen them somewhere here). How do they work?? I mean...do you start on a certain year and them you'll be able to draft the real players of the next year? 3- Is there a sort of strategy guide for the game. I'd like to learn the game by myself, but.....in certain situations some help can be appreciated. Thanks again to everyone who will reply. ![]() |

1. The E-lincense is good for two computers so that's not a problem.
2. The only historical file I've seen starts in 1970 and then all the draft files go up to the current day. When you start up the game you choose "Another player file" in the options and import the 1970 file. Then during the offseason each year you're given the option to import a draft file. You select the appropriate draft file for the year and you're sorted. 3. Not that I'm aware of. Read FOF2007 threads here and you will get rough ideas. |

1 - The elicense is valid for two computers, if you get a new one you can go in and unlicense the game on the old one and then put the license on the new one.
2 - More of these rosters will probably come out as time goes on, I'm not sure how many there are yet. 3 - If you mean general strategies like game planning, drafting etc, a lot of that can be found by digging around in some threads in the Reference thread that's stickied at the top of this forum. In most ways 2K7 is similar to 2K4 though with a good many expanded features. In terms of help or "what does this mean?" the game has a help function, basically you can press F1 to get the game's help for any window to get some basic help, what the abbreviations stand for, etc. Also, welcome to FOFC! It's a mostly friendly though partly insane group here. Last edited by Peregrine : 11-03-2006 at 03:21 AM. |

Thanks a lot.
About the first question, i'd like to know if i'm able to uninstall and then reinstall it on the same pc. Sometimes i format the pc and so all the infos are lost.....and what if i buy a new pc (one of the two is starting ot age)...will i be able to install the game again (as if i have a cd-edition of a game)?? Edit: I've seen now Peregrine's reply....thanks a lot!!!! Last edited by Ronde Barber : 11-03-2006 at 03:24 AM. |

Go to "Control Panel" there you will see an elicense icon. Double click on it and you will see all your elicense games installed, right click on the game you want to unlicense and select the unlicense option. Do that every time before formating your PC to not to lose your licenses. Once formated, you can install the game again. If you forget to unlicense the game and lose your licenses, you can contact elicense telling them what hapened and they will issue a new license to you after asking you for some data to make sure you bought the game.

About the e-licensing, be sure and write down your order # somewhere and keep it safely stored away. You will need every time you have to reinstall your game and re-license it.

I'm sure he is...just like Troy Aikman is the real Troy Aikman, Denny Green is the real Denny Green, Jennifer Love Hewitt is the real JLH, etc... Didn't you know that FOFC is a hotbed of celebrity posting?

Check the Label. If it doesn't say "CamEdwards," then it is not a genuine FOFC Celebrity. |

How awkward would it be if this was Tiki Barber posting as Ronde to avoid questions about his impending retirement?
Not too awkward, right? What if he then winds up laying some effective pipe in someones wife on a road trip and moving to Shreveport before the baby arrives? Awkward or not, welcome to the board Ti-.. Er, Ronde.. Also, I was wondering- Do you guys ever "switch places" during the season? Like Tiki goes and plays some DB in Tampa while you run for 120 yards and a couple scores?

BTW, if you can't (or forget like me) uninstall the license. You can call or email them and they will reset it so you can install again. They are really good about it and have never given me any problems.

How many times have you done this, Surtt? I would imagine if you're in double digits they might get suspicious.
