Do you think the FOF2007 patch will need a restart?
Did FOF 2004 first patch require a restart for the benefits to work? The reason I ask is that I want to start a new career in FOF2007 but I understand that the patch should be soon. I'm off work today and wish to play, but would hold off if that's the opinion of the board.

Some of the bugs that are going to be fixed happen in first 2 seasons of a league. But I am playing with a couple of leagues right now, and having fun, and if I have to restart it is not that big of a deal, because I am learning a lot.

Most developers say a restart is best, but usually they are not manditory. I always wait on a serious career until a patch is issued.

Probably not required, but I'm not considering starting a real career until its out.

With prior FOF games, you could always continue a career after a patch. However, obviously stuff like the big numbers of young FAs in the first year won't take because you have gone beyond that.

Plus, you'll always have that OL won the league's fastest man award in year 1 if you don't start over ![]() Up until now I was planning on continuting the league I already started, but if Jim does fix the problem you mention, I'll probably start over. I wasn't far into it anyway. |
