Conversion Utility on Hold?

I know Jim has stated this will be the last update for FOF2007 for several months. Can we safely assume that means the utility to convert 2004 game files to the 2007 universe will not be out until Spring 2007?

Would just like to know one way or the other so our league can plan accordingly. Thanks.

I think the converter has to be thought of separately from an update (it's not even going to be released after all, but Jim is going to do the conversions). IHOF is slated to be running 2k7 well before spring, so I'd guess it won't be that far off (Jim gave a timeframe somewhere...a couple weeks maybe? Don't quote me on that).

If you add password protection to the PFL we are going to miss out in all manner of cheating innovations.

Be sure to tell me how.

Yes, I'll get this done soon. Perusing the various league forums, there's still a lot of resistence in getting 32 people to agree on when and how, so I think I still have some time before this is an issue.

For simplicity's sake, it will only work when the End Season button is available in a league. That will save me some time, as the end year function is one of the biggest lifters in the game when it comes to file management.

I think people are ultimately going to like the new game a lot better. Having been on the new system for months now, it was definitely like stepping back in time (as one does with a team called the Anachronism) whenever I had to do an export for IHOF and deal with the old game plan.

Sorry for my other thread I created, I missed this one.

My league will be raring to go in about 2 weeks (we'll be taking a break over the Thanksgiving week). We only have 5 humans, so agreement is not much of an issue. We're also willing to wait if there are more critical things to work on.
