What draft files do you use?
I was wondering what drafts people were using... I have a TCY career going that I didn't want to lose, so I'm using the TCY files from that career that I had previously used in 2k4.
I kinda find it fun to look and see what happens to players that were mine in 2k4, whether they make it or not... And think it's great when a supurb player from my old career ends up with the same team... Note: The randomness in the game does prevent me from focusing on using the old 2k4 career to "scout" the players... (My current starting QB is a "former" player of mine who was an undrafted backup that washed out when pressed into action with several teams... I drafted him 1(5) and he has played fairly well so far in his second season.) I'm also wondering what differcnes, if any, there may be between TCY drafts compared to 2k7 generated drafts... |

I've always trusted the game-generated drafts. I can't say the same for TCY-generated.

Yeah, with the RB issues and such, I think I'm staying all game generated players for now.

I'm anxious to try out the BBCF draft files with the utility that is going to be upgraded to 2k7. I've just been using game gens till now.

I started with the 1970.fdt file and I'm using the historical draft files.

In my SP experience with 2K7 I've always used game-generated ones. With 2K4, I tried to use TCY-generated drafts in a couple of careers, with no success. There were just too many problems with it. I'd LOVE to see a better TCY-->FOF transition, even if I don't play TCY anymore.

For my first serious career in FOF2k7 I started with the 1970 fictional player file and am using historical draft files.
I'm having a blast so far. It looks like the best QB to play in the league is one of the fictional guys from 1970. He's thrown for over 50,000 yards in 12 years so far and has won like 140 more games than he's lost. |

I used yabanci's 2007 real player file because I wanted to get Brian Leonard on my team (1st team fullback all 6 seasons he's been in the league). Ever since though, going game-generated.

What the hell? I've got BBCF but had no idea there was a utility to make it useable on FOF. Please tell me all about it. |

Ditto. Used his file first year, but will use game generated all other years. I was upset when Leonard went 63rd which was a bit earlier than I expected he would. His combine numbers were great though. |

In my dynasty, I'm going to try and use TCY files. I ran a few tests, and there were some weird stand outs (guys hardly playing being ranked vbery high). But for the most part, they seem fine. I'll see how they hold up in the long run.
