Is it just me, or has there recently been an influx of noobs on this board. I take this as a good thing because it probably means there are new people coming to the game. Good for Jim, good for continued FOF iterations.

I'd be interested in hearing from some of the noobs and how they've come to hear about and/or purchase the game, and find the board.

So yeah, it's definitely FOF2K7 related. It's the #1 reason I created this forum. By nature, newbies aren't going to be at the forum as often as we long-timers, so it would be easy for them to miss key threads about the new game, because everything gets pushed off the front page pretty quickly around here due to the amount of new thread traffic.

Hey

Just joined recently after aving purchased the game. I have only been a fan of american footbal for a couple of years. Im from Ireland but have been in Korea for the last few years. Most of my (non korean) friends are from north america. I was always a big sports sim fan, especially champman(as we called it), now FM. I started to become really interested in football and started reading alternative analysis such as football outsiders.
I originally got FOF2004 but didnt have much time to play. Devoting more time to this one and Im also in a MP leauge. Trying to implement my vision on the Minnesota Vikings. That vision does not include Brad Johnson.

I've been a lurker for around 18 months, but never bothered to sign-up as my knowledge of gameplans isn't that great, so I didn't want to make a complete ass of myself by pretending to know more then I do.

And seeing as I don't know what the averages are of the more "obscure" stats (like the RB Total Rushes one) I can't point out bugs in the stats unless they are obvious, which of course you guys would have seen too.

When I started mucking around with the graphics in the game I figured I'd sign-up to share with you guys what I had made. I'm hoping to release a few differant alternatives and also HTML Output Graphic Alternatives too in the future.

I've been here a while now, but I was playing a different American Football game (I'm English) and had this one recommended. Ditched the other one and never looked back. Amazed how many non U.S. guys play this game.

I had the game recommended to me by a friend and have been hanging around for a few weeks. I played my first preseason game last night.
