Antawn. Less flash, more defense, rebounding, about the same scoring.

Antawn.
Vince is more talented and a bigger draw for attendence, but Antawn seems to be the solid front line player that could be part of something bigger. I just dont see Carter as someone who has the ability to lead his team anywhere. Plus I dont think he could handle not being the go to guy on any team. Those two qualities make a bad combination. |

At 1st I thought it would be a hard choice, but the more I think about it, give me Jamison any day.
Jamison usually makes an attempt to play defense, he has played hard for the most part this year, and doesn't have a questionable knee. The only thing I can think of in defense of Carter is he has a well defined position. Jamison needs a big rebounder on the floor with him, along with a shooter to be most effective, because he is a classic tweener at the 3 and 4. Carter is a SG, who can play the 3, no question about that. I've seen too many raptors games that were, "carter dribbles left, carter dribbles right, carter goes back left, and launches a 3 with 3 guys on him." Jamison finds a way to get his points without clogging up the offense in Golden State too much. I liked both players coming out of NC, but thought Carter had more upside, however Jamison has become a very good player, and would be a lock for the All-Star team every year in the east right now. Carter's attitiude is really in question, T-Mac is really one of the nice guys in the league and he wanted out of the situation in Toronto. Carter hasn't shown that he has the ability to lead a team anywhere, and you could tell he really felt he deserved to be in the All-Star game this year, when every one else knew he had no buisness being there. GIVE ME ANTAWN. |

I'm going to go against what everyone else has said and take Vince.
Antawn simply has no real position on the basketball court. As someone mentioned earlier, he needs people clogging up the paint for him to be the least bit effective. Vince is a remarkable talent. What he does with the talent is up to him. 2 and a half years ago he was considered the top young player in the game. Injuries and admittedly attitude problems have sidelined him for the past couple seasons but I guess I'm just banking on Vince being able to bounce back. I'll take Vince. Neuqua

Paul Pierce, who came out in the same draft and fell to the 10th pick. Or Dirk Nowitzki, who was the 9th pick.

I like the part about the Nowitzki trade. I would take Antwan, Vince gets hurt to much and is to selfish.

As much of a Warriors fan as I am, I'd agree with Blackie...I'd rather have Pierce OR Nowitzki now, hands down. But of those two...I'd have to agree with the majority and say Antawn. It seems that he does have the drive, and while he may not have as much raw talent, he gets the job done. Meanwhile, Vince is riding the bench due to "injury" in Toronto.
