NFL "beat path" analysis

Kind of a cool concept, especially if you're into new ways to look at sports performance. Basically the idea is to chart the performance of all NFL teams based on who they've beaten and who they've lost to, with the idea that Team A is better than Team B if you can find a direct or indirect "beat path".
