How Would You Rate the Pixar Movies?

After sitting in the car and listening to Cars for hours on end, I started thinking about how I would rank the Pixar movies. Here is what I came up with:

1) The Incredibles
2) Toy Story 2
3) Finding Nemo
4) Toy Story
5) Cars
6) A Bug's Life

The first 4 are far and away better than 5 and 6, and The Incredibles stands out to me, but 2-4 could be rearranged in almost any manner with no complaints from me.

1) Toy Story
2) The Incredibles
3) Monsters Inc
4) Finding Nemo
5) Toy Story 2
6) A Bug's Life

Haven't seen Cars yet

The first two are "greats" in my book while 3 thru 5 are all very good.

I'd switch 5 and 6, and I liked Bug's Life much more than Cars (although I've only seen Cars once...until the girls get the DVD for Xmas).

I have always loved Toy Story and Toy Story 2, not just from an animation aspect (TS being the first one and such) but the story and all that always got to me. I would put those two at the top easily. Still haven't seen Cars, although I want to.

If I include Monsters Inc., I'd probably put it 6th before Cars.

I dunno- to me Toy Story 2 just didn't have the same "zing" to it as the first one. Then again, I think the first one is one of the best animated movies ever, if not the best.

Woody Allen was not in "A Bug's Life." That was "Antz."

This needs to be a poll of some sort. If only we could do a ranking poll like baseball MVP voting...

Loved 1-5, and the order could change depending on my mood. I hated Toy Story 2. The story just didn't grab me the way the first one did. It seemd kind of flat to me.

Looking forward to seeing Cars. Santa will be bringing it to the kids this Christmas.

1.) Cars
2.) Monsters, Inc.
3.) Toy Story 2
4.) Finding Nemo
5.) The Incredibles
6.) A Bug's Life
7.) Toy Story

Coincidentally enough this ranking correlates exactly to my children's enjoyment of the movies.

I've always wondered if the confusion hurt A Bug's Life. Personally, I loved it. I thought it was better than Toy Story but not as good as Toy Story 2.

I have one of those unusual connections with Toy Story. I was working 80-hour work weeks right before Christmas and a friend begged me to go see Toy Story with her. I relented and proceded to fall asleep throughout the movie. To this day, whenever I watch Toy Story, I fall asleep. I don't find it dull or anything, I just get sleepy the moment I start watching it.

I think the one extended Jesse singing sequence in Toy Story 2 is among the worst moments in movie history.

Other than that, I like them all, probably the Incredibles the most, followed by Cars, TS, Nemo and Bugs life. Can't stand Billy Crystal, and he ruins Monsters Inc for me.

Cars(Just didn't care for the story, nor did I find 'mater all that funny. Sort of like Robin Williams in Aladin. Night Club routines just don't make the transition)
Bug's Life(I Know the Antz confusion hurt it. I still get them confused, although I know I liked Bug's better than Antz, the two are ixextricably linked in my mind, and the lesser detracts from the Pixar effort)

I did not like Cars very much... but a lot of adults I know who never paid attention to Pixar before saw Cars and thought it was FAN-tastic. Puzzling.

I hate to say you're 0-for-2, but...

Kevin Spacey wasn't in A Bug's Life. If you're thinking of the lead character's voice, that was Dave Foley from Kids in the Hall.

He voiced the lead baddie in that movie.

I thought he was referring to the lead character's voice. And in any event, the imdb listing I was looking at was something else - a 1999 version - that Spacey wasn't involved in? I didn't recognize him at all...unlike someone like Richard Kind, who has a pretty unmistakeable voice.

1. Incredibles - ElastiGirl is smoking hot for a computer generated cartoon character!
2. Toy Story
3. Monster, Inc. - For whatever reason, this was my daughter's first 'watch it every day for a month' stage in her life.
4. Cars
5. Finding Nemo

A Bug's Life has never done anything for me.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120623/

You were looking at the listing for the video game that came out in 1999. (If it has (VG) next to its name on imdb.com, that means it was a video game)
