Who says you need a great team to win at FOF?

Okay, so I didn't exactly win, but this is a pretty sick performance for an empty cupboard team:

Code:
Front Office Football 2007 2007 Summary for Mule Creek Marauders Year 2007 Record 7-9 Winning Pct. .437 All-Time 7-25 Winning Pct. .218 Playoffs 0-0 Playoff Visits 0 Bowl Wins 0 Head Coach Kris Thomas Record 7-9 Winning Pct. .437 Off. Coord. K. Lang Def. Coord. M. Glendenning

Here is the 1(1) QB:

Code:
Passing Pos Att Comp Yards Y/Att TD Int Rate 3 J. Ross QB 483 304 4112 8.51 22 11 95.7

More stats, pics to follow.

I started pretty much only rookies for the majority of year--at the end I got lazy and let the mentors start.

Code:
Front Office Football 2007 Mule Creek Marauders Roster, Scout Overview Player # Pos Start Exp Current Estimate Future Estimate Cntrct Ross, Jerome 3 QB QB 1 41 79 6 yrs Reese, Herman 44 RB RB 1 31 31 1 yr. Season Summary isn't the greatest, but for an empty cupboard team it's awesome:

Amazingly, Ross did not win offensive rookie of the year. Nor did his #1 receiver who did win 1st team:

Code:
Receiving Pos Targ Catch Yards Y/Ctc Y/Tar Drop TD 81 H. Daniels WR 191 116 1676 14.45 8.77 11 13

Apparently you do need a good team to win at FOF.

Code:

Ross QB 608 304 4277 7.03 22 26 67.3

I don't know what happened here. The team should have been vastly improved. Bizarrely, if I'd won one more game I would have made the playoffs as the #4 seed(best team in division went 6-10).

Like I said, you don't need a great team...

Code:

Code:
Passing Pos Att Comp Yards Y/Att TD Int Rate 3 J. Ross QB 395 255 3844 9.73 38 15 112.7 10 M. Baker QB 106 60 850 8.02 6 2 93.7 **Team --- 501 315 4694 9.37 44 17 108.6 $$Opp --- 570 299 3309 5.81 28 14 76.1 Receiving Pos Targ Catch Yards Y/Ctc Y/Tar Drop TD 81 H. Daniels WR 165 107 1636 15.29 9.92 5 14

I don't think I'm going to continue this dynasty, though--Jerome Ross only played 13 games before suffering career threatening injury and I'm not in the mood for a "challenge."

M. Baker is a 3rd round rookie backup 27/43.

40's to 60's. Keeping the same mentors helped on that front somewhat.
