FOF2k7-d won't open

As the title says, I can't open my game now. I updated yesterday and I think I have opened it once or twice since, but can't open it now, first week of preseason, just after camp.

I run on a Mac via Parallels, so I thought it might be down to that, but I copied the league and universe files over to a P4 and I still can't open it. So something has gone and gotten corrupted or, I don't even know. I don't know why I speculate.

I'd send a file to Jim but first I have to know what it is I'd be sending..

From Solecismic Website:

We support all Windows-based operating systems from Windows '98 onward. However, the electronic licensing does not support Virtual PC on Macintosh-based computers.

Virtual PC and Parallels are two different programs, willem.

On the p4 does fof show up in the processes? That's what is happening to me since patch c. There is a FAQ on the Solecismic website that may help but so far nothing has worked for me.

Thanks JPhillips, I don't seem to have exactly the same problem. I can get the game to start up, but can't load my season. Swapping over to the P4, it was the same. That's why I think it might be a corrupted file and maybe something Jim could fix (if he was willing) but I don't know what you send him in a case like this. I guess I was hoping someone might leak that information..

When I try to load my game, I get an error message that looks like this (didn't count all the zeros):

Exception Information:

code: 0xc0000005 flags: 0x0000000..
record: 0x00000000000.. Address: 0x000000000005545fa

system information:
Windows NT 5.1 build: 2600
etc. ..

Module 1
FrFoot2007.exe
Image base: 0x00400000 Image size: 0x00000..
Checksum: 0x00000.. Time Stamp: 0x4570afo4

and on and on it goes for pages. I figure someone who knows the program knows exactly what this kind of error is and what likely causes it.

I can't fix corrupted files. That's what that error looks like.

The only thing in that error message worth looking at is already there (the address of the crash and the code). If it happens again with a different saved game, you could zip up the game files and find a way to get them to customer support (saved games are too large for email, so you'd have to put them on a server somewhere).
