Maybe I never notice this before FOF 2007

Does it seem that the AI does a better job of getting scrubs, particularly linemen, into games than before?

Maybe the expanded stats that lists everyone opened my eyes to something I never notice before, but it seems like everyone gets in.

Tracking Special Teams tackles is particularly sweet too.

I agree entirely. In fact, I've see AI-owned players work up from special teams to starting roles because of it. There's a 5th year All-Pro LB that was an undrafted scrub for the Vikings who's now their anchor on defense. No summer league or anything. Just a (roughly) 50% increase in playing time each year. Still not that highly rated, but notching 150 solo tackles gets you noticed.

I particularly like seeing the position experience information for this, what surprises me is how some guys, particularly backup defenders, are used all over the place, I have seen some linebackers that have experience at basically every defensive position!

I think players generally get experience in other positions even if they haven't played there, I don't think it necessarily means that they have played in those positions at all.
