Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6: Vegas

Most of my friends have pretty jumped onto the Gears of War bandwagon, and I've been really lagging behind getting a new game since Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Eventually, I'll probably pick up Gears of War, but I'm actually a bit more curious about Rainbow 6: Vegas.

Has anyone picked up this title, or has it just gone under the radar for most folks? Reviews seem to be highly promising, and I did enjoy GRAW from the time I spent on it. I'm presuming this is along the same gameplay engine? I'll have to check if there's a demo available for RS6, but I figured I'd ask here to see what other folks' impressions air.

I got it and like the game. It is really hard to read text on my crappy non HDTV. Looking forward to viewing on a new LCD soon.

What I have played so far seems pretty good and definately not the same engine as GRAW for multi player.

I have it on rental for the 360, and I think it's pretty good. I'm terrible at games like this, but I love the concept. I'm not playing on an HDTV, but I am playing on a decent computer monitor, and it looks great.

I don't think I'll ever actually get to Vegas in the game, but skulking my way through Mexico or wherever the hell I am is fun.

I've actually been eagerly awaiting for some of my other buddies to pick up a copy of this game -- more than likely, I'll get my buddy in Vegas a copy of this for X-Mas. I've been really wanting to try out the 4 player Co-Op and see how that goes, I think GRAW had a 2 player Co-Op thing going on, but for only like 4 missions or so.

There's a bunch of us from Operation Sports that play this game 3 or 4 nights a week, it's that addicting. The single player portion is fantastic, but the game truly shines on XBL.

My gamertag is Sully OS. Send me a FR if you're interested in joining us.

I picked this up on the 26th, I love it. Can't wait to keep playing it. I'm thinking I will probably play it again on the harder difficulty level just for fun.

For any of those that have it, is the co-op only online or can you run it locally on a system with 4 of your buddies?
